Guten Morgan, ohne Sorgan!

Edelsberg (1629 m) and Alpspitze (1575 m) are the highest mountains of the Allgäu in Germany just east of Garmisch-Partenkirchen near the Austrian border. They offer a good view of the foothills of the Alps and the high Allgäu to the south.

This video shows Christo Hutchel’s snowshoe tour traveling to Nesselwang went up across the shoulder from the west, past the sports center Böck, down to the Kappeler Alm and later via Kreuzweg via Mariasberg to the parking lot of the Alpspitzbahn valley station.

Check out the final segment of our video series- “A Day in the Life: Trail”.

This second video is evidence that winter fitness can be as enjoyable as it is challenging. Surrounding the lakes at Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA, two couples take to the trail. With smooth striding Light-Ride suspension and Speed Series snowshoes, you’ll see that outdoor fitness doesn’t hibernate. Featuring the Atlas 8-Series & Speed Series snowshoes, “A Day in the Life: Part Two” shows what it’s like living life on the trail.

Part One: A Day in the Life – Backcountry

Check out the first segment of our video series- “A Day in the Life: Backcountry”.

This first video follows three outdoor adventurers as they embark on a challenging weekend of snowshoeing in the Pacific Northwest. After a hardy breakfast, they set out into the backcountry, tackling a demanding day filled with deep powder and steep terrain. The adventure continues as the group sets up camp in the shadow of Mt. Shuksan on a star-filled night. Their snowshoe of choice is the new and versatile Atlas Endeavor, ideally suited for technical and inconsistent terrain.
